Lawrence Glidden

Glidden , Lawrence Paw Paw Lawrence Lee Glidden, 83, of Paw Paw, Michigan, passed away on December 30, 2022, at his home with loved ones. Lawrence, known as Larry, was born September 4, 1939 in Lawrence, Michigan, the son of Glenn Glidden and Nettie (Banks) Glidden. He graduated from Paw Paw High School in 1959. During high school he played football. He then went on to become a certified welder and farmer. Larry married Margaret (Ziemba) on February 25, 1978. They had 45 happy years of marriage. Larry worked as a welder/fabricator and driver for the Van Buren County Road Commission for over 37 years and made friends while working there. He loved his family farm that he ran and operated the majority of his life, and kept the legacy of the centennial farm for many years. Remaining to cherish Larry's memory is his spouse Margaret, his brothers and sisters and five kids, Laura White, Lee Glidden, Margie Harrell-Page, Cheryl Souther and Glenn Glidden, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his brother Rodney, his son Augustus and his granddaughter Jena White. Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 2-6 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Larry will be buried at Wildey Cemetery in Paw Paw.
