Laurel Ballingal

Ballingall, Laurel 10/4/1931 - 4/18/2022 Kalamazoo Passed away peacefully on Monday April 18, 2022 at Stanford Lodge in Plainwell. Laurel was born October 4, 1931 in L'Anse, MI the daughter of Laurie and Florence (Edwards) Mattson. On September 7, 1957 she was united in marriage to David Ballingall and moved to Kalamazoo to raise her family. She is survived by her husband David, three children, David Ballingall, Lesley Turner, Karen Ballingall; sister, Kay Rastello; nephew, Mike Rastello; sister-in-law, Christina Ballingall. Laurel enjoyed collecting antiques throughout her lifetime and retired as a bookkeeper. An avid golfer, she led the family with 4 holes-in-one. Friends will be received 4-7 pm Friday April 22, 2022 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery.
