Mr. Larry Senti, age 73, of Zeeland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Novem-ber 18, 2010, after suffering a fatal accident while cut-ting wood for the winter. He died where he enjoyed being the most, in the com-pany of his family, friends and in God’s country.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet (Gesink); his loving daughter and son-in- law, Shannon and James VanHemert; his two loving sons and daughters-in-law, Cory and Laura Senti, Thad and Lorene Senti; seven wonderful grandsons, Trev-or and Taran Van Hemert, Mackenna, Tanner, David, Ashton and Ethan Senti; two adorable granddaugh-t-ers, Laurianne and Sienna Senti. Also surviving are his siblings, Gale, Robert and Karen. Awaiting him in heaven are his mother and father, Harold and Gertie Senti, and his brother, Gary.

Larry was born August 3, 1937, in Dispatch, Kansas, and attended grade and high school in Downs, Kan-sas. He honorably served his country for four years in the Navy. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree at Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, where he met and married his beautiful wife, Janet. He went on to receive his mas-ter of science degree from Montana State University.

Larry was a faithful mem-ber of his church and served in the office of elder many times. He was a very devoted Christian and a great exam-ple to all who knew him. Despite having few worldly riches of his own, he was for-ever generous with his time, money and full of mercy for those who were less fortu-nate. He was a wonderful and faithful husband, father and friend, and will be dear-ly and forever missed. We love you so much, Larry, Dad and Grandpa.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednes-day, November 24, 2010, at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State St., Zee-land. Pastor Martin Novak will officiate. In lieu of flowers, charitable contri-butions may be made to Sienna Senti for her adult care, which will be placed in her special-needs trust fund
