Kenneth Goodrich

Goodrich, Kenneth E. 3/11/1931 - 3/7/2019 Kalamazoo, Formerly Gobles Passed away with loving care Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Alamo Nursing Home. Ken was born March 11, 1931 in Gobles, the son of the late Earl and Pearl (Cassada) Goodrich and had lived in Kalamazoo for the past 58 years. Ken worked as a welder until retirement for the Brundage Company in Kalamazoo. He honorably served his country as a member of the US Army serving during the Korean War. Ken was a true family man and cherished time spent with those he loved and cared for. Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Louise; 2 sons, Steven (Diane) Goodrich and Charles Goodrich; grandchildren, Michael Goodrich, Hannah (Kurt) Zeman, Brandon (Amber) Goodrich, Brett Goodrich, Emily (Ben Snow) Goodrich; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Irene (Anthony) Happel. The family will meet friends on Friday, March 15th from 2 PM until time of funeral services at 3 PM at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com, Pastor Carol Newman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alamo Nursing Home.
