Kenneth Frank Bostwick

Kenneth Frank Bostwick, 70, or Augusta, MI passed away on October 18, 2023. He was born on November 30, 1952, in Kalamazoo, MI.

Ken attended Gull Lake High School and proudly served in the Army for 2 years. After his military service he pursued a successful career as a self-employed farmer and later as a lead mechanic at BestWay Disposal. Ken found solace in his faith and was a member of Day Bible Church. He enjoyed collecting, restoring, and driving antique tractors, spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren, playing the coronet/trumpet, and watching the History Channel and RFD TV.

Kenneth was a beloved husband to Barb and a loving father to Betsy (Tim), Holly, and Frank (Kimberly). He cherished his role as a grandfather to his 7 grandchildren. Ken is survived by his mother Vera Bostwick, sister Kathy (Tom) VanDaff, brother Keith (Fatima), and sister Kay (Bob) Warner and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Robert Bostwick, father-in-law Lynn Lawrence, and mother-in-law Phyllis Lawrence.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 28th at Hickory Corners Bible Church 13720 Kellogg School Rd. Hickory Corners, MI 49060. Visitation will begin at 10:00 followed by a memorial at 11:00 and a meal to follow. In lieu of flowers the family kindly request that contributions be made to the church of your choosing, Kalamazoo Animal Rescue www.kalamazooanimalrescue.org The Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org. Ken's body has been donated to science for Alzheimer's research. Ken will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
