Obituary
Kendal James Den Bleyker, 21, of Holland, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012.
Kendal was born in Zeeland on August 8, 1991, to Bryan and Lauri (Lemmen) Den Bleyker. Kendal graduated from Zeeland West High School in 2010 and on Monday, had started his junior year at GVSU studying criminal justice.
Kendal was working his way through college in quality control at Bareman’s Dairy/Purple Cow Creamery. Kendal was a driven and determined young Christian man who expected much from those around him, but even more from himself. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Bryan and Lauri; his brother, Brandon; his special friend, Symone Cliffman and her parents; his grandparents, Ken and Esther Lemmen, Dave and Marilyn Den Bleyker; aunts and uncles, Gary and Carol Lemmen, Doug and Barb Den Bleyker, Kara Fleming and Eric Van Bronkhorst; and cousins.
Funeral services to honor Kendal’s faith and life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012, at Holland Heights Christian Reformed Church, 836 E. 8th Street, Holland. Rev. Dick Stravers will officiate. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland. Burial will be in East Holland Cemetery.
