Kendal Den Bleyker

Kendal James Den Bleyker, 21, of Holland, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012.

Kendal was born in Zeeland on August 8, 1991, to Bryan and Lau­ri (Lemmen) Den Bleyk­er. Kendal graduated from Zeeland West High School in 2010 and on Monday, had started his junior year at GVSU studying criminal justice.

Kendal was working his way through college in quality control at Bare­man’s Dairy/Purple Cow Creamery. Kendal was a driven and determined young Christian man who expected much from those around him, but even more from himself. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Bryan and Lau­ri; his brother, Bran­don; his special friend, Symone Cliffman and her parents; his grand­parents, Ken and Esther Lemmen, Dave and Mar­ilyn Den Bleyker; aunts and uncles, Gary and Carol Lemmen, Doug and Barb Den Bleyker, Kara Fleming and Er­ic Van Bronkhorst; and cousins.

Funeral services to honor Kendal’s faith and life will be at 11 a.m. Fri­day, August 31, 2012, at Holland Heights Chris­tian Reformed Church, 836 E. 8th Street, Hol­land. Rev. Dick Stravers will officiate. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thurs­day at Langeland-Steren­berg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland. Burial will be in East Holland Cemetery.
