Kellee Lockett

Kellee Dalvonn Lockett, 44, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2023, with family by her side. She had been hospitalized for three months. Beloved Kellee was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to her parents Joyce Lockett Durden and Vincent Taylor on February 5, 1979. Kellee received her education in the Kalamazoo Public School system which she graduated from.

Kellee was loved and cared for by her family along with many others. She had a great sense of humor. She was silly and fun to be around. Her smile and laughter made you smile and laugh. Kellee was a great cook and loved watching the cooking channels on TV. Kellee was preceded in death by brother Vincent Lockett, step-father Jesse Durden, maternal grandparents Betty & Otha Lockett, and paternal grandparents Madge & Victor Taylor.

Kellee leaves behind treasured memories and love. Her daughters: Khalia Ollie and Khe'Asia Cullom; granddaughter Khe'Moni Lockett; parents Joyce Lockett-Durden, Vincent Taylor and step-mom Lenore Taylor; sisters Kameya Taylor-Young (Robert) and Kamana Taylor; nieces Kayla Taylor and Keigan Taylor; nephews Kai Taylor and Kellen Young. Kellee's life and memories will be celebrated by a host of family and friends. Kellee will be truly missed and forever in our hearts!

Arrangements are entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where Family Hour Visitation will occur Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 11:00AM – 12:00 Noon; with Funeral to follow at 12:00 Noon.
