Caughey, Keiren Jean "Guppie" Kalamazoo (formerly of Muskegon) Keiren J. "Guppie" Caughey, 66, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021, at her home in Kalamazoo. She was born December 17, 1954 in Muskegon to Conrad C. and Virginia (Chatam) Caughey, and moved to Kalamazoo in May of 1987. Guppie worked as an office manager at Sharp Smile Center and Kalamazoo Oral Surgery. She was also a child care provider at First Care of Kalamazoo and did private child care as a Nanny. She married Roger Borgeson on May 30, 1987, and he survives her along with a sister Marie Zavala of Pearsal, TX, her niece Debi Coffman and nephew Shawn (Sharon) Caughey, many grand nephews, nieces and cousins. Guppie was preceded in death by her brother Michael (Terry). Keiren was a member of the De Colores community and served as Rectoress of De Colores #32 in Southwest Michigan. The theme was Celebrate Life in Christ. That is how she lived her life, celebrating Christ. A service to remember and celebrate Guppie's life will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Fellowship Reformed Church, 4200 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, 49442. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Masks are required by the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, 222 N.
