Kathryne Heron

Kathryne Marie Heron 62 of Columbia, SC., formally of Kalamazoo, MI. passed away November 10, 2019. She was born on March 24, 1957 to Patricia J. (Lewis) Berry and Floyd J. Heron in Flint, Michigan. Kathryne was a graduate of Davison High School, Class of 1975 in Davison, Michigan. She received an Associatate Degree of Business from Baker Junior Collage of Business of Flint, Michigan in 1980 before moving to Southwest Michigan. She worked for many years at Kalamazoo Gastroenterology Hepatology as a Manager. Kathryne moved to Columbia, SC in 2006. She enjoyed returning to Michigan in the summer to spend time with family and friends and visiting South Haven, Michigan. Kathryne was a member of Irmo, SC Lyons Club. She will always be remembered for her generosity, easy going nature, and love of animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd J. Heron and step-father Maurice Berry. She is survived by her mother, Patricia J. Berry; her sister, Michelle N. Heron; her brothers Jack M. Heron and Scott M. Heron; half sister Ruth Ann Heron; step-mother, Beverly Heron; step siblings, Marcia Busque, Micheal Berry, John Berry, Denise Agius, Becky Roda, Ed Heron and Janet Sullins A celebration of her life will be arranged in Michigan in early summer 2020
