Julie A. (Wixson) Brophy, 64, of Debary, FL (Formerly of Jackson, MI) passed away at home on 7/30/2023 under the loving care of her family and hospice after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Julie was born, the eldest daughter of Ray and Imogene Wixson, who proceeded her, on June 7, 1959 in Royal Oak, MI. She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Brophy, son Shane (Meg) Brophy, daughter Kelsey (Kendall) Bradley, brother Steve (Cindy) Wixson of Jerome, MI, sister Susan Burnicle of Rosenberg, TX, and grandchildren Brook and Maive Brophy. Julie was a 1977 graduate of Parma Western, MI High School. She worked in the restaurant business and at Old Navy for many years. She donated her time to hospice of Orange City, FL. Julie loved her family, following her children's activities, enoyed reading, yard work, keeping up with all of her friends, morning walks with her golden retriever, Luka, and frequent trips to her happy place at New Smyrna Beach. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend to many. Per Julie's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
