LODER - Julia Olga "G.G.", of Grand Rapids, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 90, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Dr. John Musgrave officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to Hug A Bear or Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Julia was born in Jackson County, Tennessee on January 14, 1917, the daughter of Otto and Julia (Flynn) Price and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life, before moving to Grand Rapids in 2000. She married Herbert Loder on January 14, 1939 and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2000. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She loved antiques and was a longtime member of the Flint Antiques Club. Surviving are daughter, Linda Wenger of Grand Rapids; two granddaughters, Whitney Wenger of Utica, Sarah Jane and husband, David Snyder of Grand Rapids; great granddaughter, Lilyanna Snyder; two sisters-in-law, Mabel and husband, Carl Turbin of Oscoda and Alice Loder of Flushing; brother-in-law, Joseph Marion of Saginaw; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
