Julia Irene Rayman

Julia Irene Rayman passed away peacefully in her sleep at The Laurels of Sandy Creek on Friday April 12, 2024, just a few days before her 72nd birthday. She was born on April 16, 1952, in Kalamazoo, MI to Robert and Elaine (Evink) Morrison.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Morrison.

Julia is survived by her daughters, Tami Mercer and Chantel (Travis Clark) Rayman; grandchildren, Ryan (Carrie) Balgoyen, Savanna Mercer, Logan Huggins, Dylan Conrad, Khloe Christman and Jayden Clark; and great grandson Dean Balgoyen. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Morrison and LuAnn Johnson as well as several nieces and nephews.

Julia was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed. She was loved by all who met her. She loved traveling to Florida and had lived there for a few years after her retirement from Perrigo. Julia's favorite past time was watching football and Nascar on television. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Special thank you to Julia's nieces, Penny Bursma and Angela Bender for being her caregivers for the last several years. Also special thanks to the loving and caring staff at Maplewood of Sandy Creek where Julia resided in assisted living for the past 18 months.

The family invites guests to visit and funeral service on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South Chapel at 3491 S. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
