Terrell, Judith Irene 2/16/1942 - 11/7/2020 Lampasas, TX Judith Irene (Daines) Terrell, 78, of Lampasas, TX passed on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 peacefully in her sleep from natural causes after a lengthy illness. Judith was the youngest of 3 girls born to Willard and Bernice Daines in Paw Paw, MI. She attended school in Paw Paw until moving to Chicago with her mother and sister in High School. While in Chicago, she worked as a secretary for the FBI when she met her first husband and started her family. In the late 70s, she returned to Paw Paw where she became re-acquainted with Eugene Terrell, having previously attended a one room country school together in their youth. They married in June of 1979 and went on to have 2 more children together. Judy loved being a mother to her children and step-daughters. In the early 90s Judy and her family bought a beautiful historic home in Allegan, MI where she remained until just prior to her passing. She relocated to Texas so that Hanah could help to care for her in her illness. Judy was a talented needlepoint artist, like her mother before her, and was a skilled crochetier. She loved Gin Martinis and tea parties. Her gentle and loving soul is missed by many. Judy was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Deborah K. Terrell on 2/22/1987 and her beloved canine companion Mr. Darcy. Judy is survived by her ex-husband, Eugene Terrell, her children and grandchildren, Denise (Barry) Schwartz and grandson Bryan of Alpharetta, GA, Kym (Tim) Grabman with granddaughters Myranda and Victoria of Clermont, FL, James Karban III (Stephanie Wilkins) of Longwood, FL, Hans Terrell (James Wood) of Ashville, NC, and Hanah (Von) Goodwin of Lampasas, TX. She is also survived by her sisters, Diana Daines of New Hampshire and Shirley Brundage of Colorado. She had numerous nieces and nephews across the United States that she loved dearly. A friends and family informal celebration will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 in Lampasas, TX. Please reach out to Hanah for further information.
