Judith Ann Dunk passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2017 after a short but tough battle with cancer. Judith was born November 16th, 1940, the first child of Joseph and Virginia Seitz. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic School, McKinley and Park High School. She found her calling early on while working as a nanny for Dr. Hill's family. She loved children and wanted to be a mother. In 1958 Judy married the love of her life, Gene Dunk and in 9 years they had 5 children. She loved to bake, help in her children's classrooms and every summer the family enjoyed vacation adventures. Gene and Judy were lucky enough to retire to St. Petersburg Florida 23 years ago where they enjoyed collecting dolls, going to festivals, and playing cards with friends. They also had a once in a lifetime trip to Europe in 1998. Judy loved to swim laps and woke up at 5 am most days to do so. She loved ice cream and made a mean malt!

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband and best friend, Gene; her children, John Dunk, Eugene (Dawn) Dunk, Jerome (Jean) Dunk, Julie (Pete) Nelson and Virginia Dunk-Chapman, all of Racine. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (Dave) Dargin, Kathy (Cliff) Spear and brother, Mike (Linda) Seitz; sister-in-law, Judy (Robert) Tinnen as well as many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Virginia; beloved younger brother, Joey; grandson, Ben; and great-grandson, Elwood.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017, 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Javier Guativa officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Alliance Hospice House or Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin have been suggested.
