Joseph "Joe" McAlear passed away at his home on Saturday August 2, 2025. Born on April 25, 1975 in Battle Creek Michigan.
Joe is survived by his father Bob (Cindy) McAlear, Mother Kaye (Dennis) Tressic, sister, Catherine McAlear, Brother Mike (Karen Cowie) McAlear. Also survived by beloved Niece Madison McAlear, Nephew Joseph McAlear, Nephew Justin Cowie and Niece Sarah Cowie.
Joe graduated from Galesburg High School in Augusta Michigan. He went on to receive a Bachelors in Business from Western Michigan University. Joe was well known for his quick wit and one liners. He was a very funny guy with a contagious laugh. Joe would give you the shirt off his back, caring, loving always willing to lend a helping hand, he never met a stranger. Joe enjoyed softball, golf and was an avid Red Wings hockey fan. He loved animals especially his Golden Retrievers Lakota and Bailey. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private graveside service will be held for Joe and he will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven Michigan.
