Joseph Herdus

Died unexpectedly June 19, 2020 at Bronson Hospital. Joe was born in Jackson, MI on March 19, 1946, the son of Joseph and Mary (Mierzwa) Herdus. He retired from Consumers Energy after 35 years. For the past 5 years he worked part time as a patient sitter at Bronson Hospital. Joe was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, VFW Post 921, WMU Women's Basketball Boosters, and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, MSU and WMU Sports. Joe is survived by his wife Patty (Tribble); daughters: Kelly & Bobby Atchison of Metairie LA, Dayna & Rody Valpey of Traverse City, step granddaughter Alessondra Valle, sister Patricia Dubinski of Jackson MI, several nieces and nephews.
