John Farquhar

FARQUHAR - John A. Farquhar, aged 80, of Grandville, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2008. John was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy and was a member of VFW Post 702 and American Legion Post 154. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Catherine Farquhar; his daughter, Carol Farquhar; sisters, Ionia Shelley, Elaine (Tad) Jameson, Anna Mahoney; brother, William (Marcia) Farquhar; very close family friend, Deb Shimmel. Funeral and Committal Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Pastor Tad Jameson officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
