John Bigley

Bigley, John 9/2/1939 - 12/3/2021 Schoolcraft John F. Bigley of Schoolcraft, MI passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the age of 82. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on September 2, 1939, the fourth of six children of John and Marian (Butler) Bigley. John married Janice (Marciniak) Bigley, July 1960 and they were married for 61 years. They were blessed with three children, Julie, Jodi, and Dee, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. John worked at Eaton for 40 years. Over the years, John was always active with hobbies such as fishing, hunting, woodworking furniture and remodeling homes but he always made time for family and friends. He volunteered in his church, worked with young adults & young married couples, and most recently in helping to establish the Portage Thrift Center to serve thirsty families with clean water and the gospel through Living Water International. In leu of flowers, gifts can be made in his memory to Living Water International www.water.cc Visitation is Sunday December 12th, 2pm -3pm located at Cherry Creek Church 10641 Shaver Road in Portage, followed by the Celebration of life service at 3pm.
