John Arundel

Passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026, with his family by his side. John was born on September 21, 1938, in Sturgis, Michigan, to the late John S. and Bertha (Nowak) Arundel. After graduating from high school, John went to college and earned an associate's degree. Following his time in school, John joined the United States Military. Surviving John is his wife, Ellen (Lattyak); children, John K. Arundel, Deborah Arundel, Caryn (David) Grey, Margaret Arundel, Robert (Lyndsay) Elhenicky; grandchildren, Sara (Lee), Derick (Chelsea), Lawrence, Leah (Frank), Marcus, Larrissa, Elsa, Will, Kayleigh, Kalyn, Allyson; great grandchildren, Corbin, Lailah, Ava; sister, Janette (Jim) Parker; sister in law, Deborah Lewis, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in passing are his parents and brother, James Arundel. Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation on Wednesday February 4, 2026, from 4pm to 7pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation services, 411 East Centre Avenue, Portage, Michigan 49002. Mass will be held the following day, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 West Centre Avenue, Portage, Michigan 49024, with visitation from 10am to 11am and the Mass to follow at 11am. Everyone is welcome to stay for a lunch at church following the Mass. John will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at 2:30pm the same day.
