John and Tina Beard

Beard, John R. and Tina R. Galesburg Tina Rose Beard, age 45, passed away on May 5, 2021. Tina's husband, John R. Beard, age 59, passed away on May 10, 2021. John was born on May 20, 1961 in Martinsburg, West Viriginia and Tina was born December 6, 1975 in Battle Creek, Michigan. They were married on February 14, 1995. John worked as head chef at Red Lobster for 27 years and Tina spent her time working from home, raising her children. John was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing many different sports. He also enjoyed watching action movies and wrestling and riding his motorcycle. They both loved family vacations and being grandparents. Tina enjoyed reading romance novels, watching action movies and fishing. Both John and Tina were loving and kind parents and grandparents and will be missed by many. They leave behind their children, Angel, John, Jr. and Bryan Beard; four grandnieces and nephews who they adopted; and grandchildren, Isaiah, Jr., Isabella Rose, Kalani Rose and baby Beard on the way. Tina is also survived by her sisters, Daniela Wilkerson, Myrtle Kelley, Eunice McElvain, Becky Stewart and Paula Bradstreet. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph D. Stewart and Donna (Renner) Bordeau; step-father, Donald A. Bordeau; and sister, Tammy Stewart. John was preceded in death by his mother, Joann Beard and brother, Joe Beard. In accordance with their wish, cremation will take place and a celebration of their lives will be held at a later date.
