Jill Arvidson

Passed away peacefully on Sunday August 19, 2018. She was born December 27, 1958 in Kalamazoo Michigan to Robert and Joanne Arvidson. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Mathewson. She is survived by brothers Mike (Lori) and Jim, and sister Julie Mason (Randy). She also left nieces and nephews Alexa, Jamie, Brittany, Arly, Jake, Luke, Ben, Nick and Brian along with her pets Buster and Boots. Jill was a 1977 graduate of Gull Lake High School and attended Michigan State University. She was a very creative and artistic person and owned flower shops in Chicago and Clarkson MI. Jill brought joy and laughter to everyone she met. She was a whiz in the kitchen and always brought home many treats for the holidays. In accordance with Jill's wishes there will be no formal ceremony. A private family service will take place at a later date. Thank you to the nurses from the Southwest Michigan Hospice Service for their fine and generous care. If interested, donations may be made in Jill's name to the Humane Society or charity of your choice.
