Jerry Richter, beloved son of June and Russell Hayward, passed away at home after many years of failing health. He graduated from Schoolcraft in 1975. He loved serving his country for eight years, two of which he spent in Germany. He was also a hard worker. He leaves behind four children, Daniel, Andrew, Cassandra, Aaron; five grandchildren; six siblings, Charles Richter, Gary (Jeanne) Richter, Diana Drobny, Pam (Chuck) Knapp, Anna Hayward Baker, Russell A. (Angela) Hayward; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Tamme Williamson Richter and father, Russell D. Hayward. Cremation has taken place and a burial of ashes will take place following a Memorial Service at Fort Custer on July 25 at 1:30 PM. Nothing to follow.
