Jeffery A. Dykhouse

DYKEHOUSE, JEFFERY A. Jeffery A. Dykehouse, age 51 of Grand Rapids, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 9th 2014. Jeff is the loving father of Heather (Rodney) Golden, Tyler (Jordan) Miller, Sarah Dykehouse, Laura Dykehouse and Amanda Dykehouse; spouse of Pam Dykehouse; proud grandfather of Shelby and Devin Golden. and brother to Gary and Julie Dykehouse, Doug and Stephani Dykehouse, Don and Maggie Dykehouse, Ron and Jan Dykehouse, Rick Houvener and Sue and Bill Southworth. He will also be missed by extended family and friends. Sadly, Jeff is preceded in death by his dear daughter, Emily (d.1995) and parents Gerrit and Letha Dykehouse. An involved member of our community, he is most recently known for his photography business and involvement in law enforcement activities. A celebration of Jeff's life will take place at 4:00 PM, Monday, July 14th at Ada Bible Church, (Knapp St. Campus) preceded by an hour of visitation beginning at 3pm. Memorial visitation will also be held Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the main chapel of the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Emily's Big Picture Project or the "Dykehouse Memorial Fund" c/o Lake Michigan Credit Union for Jeff's children's college education.
