Jeanne Singleton

Passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, in her home, with her family by her side. Jeanne was born on December 29, 1944, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to the late, Jerry and Evelyn (Lyke) Smith. After graduating from high school, Jeanne worked at Borgess Hospital in the kitchen for years while raising her 3 children. Later in life, Jeanne married her best friend, James, who she spent over 9 loving years with. Surviving Jeanne is her husband, James Singleton; children, Ginger (Chad), Kim (Dennis), John (Monica); stepchildren, James (Bill), Steven Keith (Lisa), Sherry (Kathy); siblings, Robert, Joan, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding her in passing are her parents and several brothers and sisters. To honor Jeanne, a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2pm, at New Apostolic Church of Portage, 3600 W Milham Avenue, Portage, Michigan 49024.
