James Blystra

James Blystra, age 58, of Holland, went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 10, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pam; and his father, Harold. Jim was employed at Howard Miller and attended Central Wes­leyan Church. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bev; children, Matt and Sara Blystra of Zeeland, Janay and Ray Bean of Holland and Mitch Blystra of Holland; three grandchildren; mother, Irene Blystra of Jenison; sis­ters, Mary and Gary Welton of Lake Worth, FL, and Deb and John Plooster of Jeni­son; mother-in-law, Margie Gras of Zeeland; stepfather­in- law, Clyde Veltema of Hudsonville; in-laws, Norm and Margie Gras of Holland, Mary and Daryl Boerman of Zeeland, Ken and Judy Gras of Phoenix, AZ, Larry and Sue Gras of Zeeland, Patti and Rick Vander Zwaag of Holland, Glenda Koning of Jamestown, Steve and Judy Roelofs of Jenison, Tami and Dave Plooster of Hud­sonville, Doug and Sandy Roelofs of Hudsonville, Ralph and Janice VanEns of Rockford, Carol and Jim Dyke of Hudsonville, Gail and Doug Harmsen of Zee­land, Marcia Harmsen of Zeeland and Mary Geurink of Holland.

Funeral services will be at 1 p. m. Friday, January 14, 2011, in the Chapel at Central Wesleyan Church with Dr. Paul Hontz offi­ciating. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs­day at Langeland-Steren­berg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
