Age 69, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Jackie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 9, 1955, the daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy (Lampe) Eagan. She attended The Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jackie was kind, outgoing and never afraid to give her opinion. She was an extremely loving wife, mother and grandmother and cherished spending time with her family.

Jackie met the love of her life, William "Bill" Showen and they married on August 21, 1976. Jackie and Bill raised their two children in several cities across the East Coast and Midwest. No matter where they lived, Jackie ensured each new house felt like a home and never missed celebrating (or decorating for) a holiday, no matter the circumstance. If you knew Jackie, you have no doubt laughed with her. Jackie's sense of humor carried her and those she loved through even the most difficult times. She never met a stranger and enjoyed volunteering in her church and community, always making those around her feel valued and loved.

Jackie is survived by her husband Bill, her children, Sara (Timothy) O'Brien and Jonathon (Kaylee) Showen; grandchildren, Ian, Abigail, Joseph and Sage O'Brien; Anea, Caden, Nolan and Lincoln Showen and Dodi Marshall; as well as her brothers, Timothy (Gina) and Dennis (Sally Jo) Eagan.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Southridge Church, 6726 Texas Dr., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, with Pastors Mark Vanderson and Birute Puike officiating.
