Mr. Jack Prange, 78, of Zeeland, formerly of Climax, died Sunday, November 11, 2007.
Jack was born in Three Rivers to Marshall and Gleeola Prange on June 7, 1929. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked on his dairy farm in Climax for 34 years and was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Galesburg. In 1991, he and his wife, Doyne, retired and moved to Holland. Jack was a member of Evergreen Commons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doyne, in 2006; daughter, Ann Louise, in 1966; and son, Mark Curtis, in 1991.
He is survived by his son, Joel and Teresa Prange of Zeeland; five grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; sister, Jeanette and Raymond Dunn of Three Rivers; brother, Marshall and Arlene Prange of Three Rivers.
A memorial service will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, November 16, 2007, at City On A Hill Ministries, 100 S. Pine Street, Zeeland. The Rev. Richard J. Haferman will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Ever Rest Cemetery in Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions to GLOW Ministries International, P.O Box 123, Zeeland, MI, 49464. Arrangements are by the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St., Zeeland.
