Irma Shull

Shull, Irma R. Portage Irma Ruth Shull of Portage, MI, died on December 13, 2020 at Rose Arbor at the age of 86. She was born on July 15, 1934 in Zeeland, MI to Harry and Bertha (VanHaitsma) Derks. Irma graduated from Zeeland High School and attended Hope College, where she met her husband, Donald Shull. Their children include William (Carol) Shull, Thomas (Renee) Shull, and Joellyn Shull; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Irma was a secretary at Portage Public Schools until she retired. She loved to knit and do needlework, play the piano, and take care of her greyhound granddogs. Irma was active at Lakeland Reformed Church and volunteered at Ministry with Community. Due to gathering limitations at this time, a private family graveside service will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery and a memorial service at Lakeland Reformed Church will be held at a later date.
