Irene Quick, age 88, of Allendale, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, December 9, 2011.
Irene was a member of the Rusk Christian Reformed Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Quick.
She is survived by her sons, Calvin Quick of Byhalia, MS, Robert Quick of Allendale; three grandchildren, Susan and Royce Walker, Amy Quick, Michael and Jill Quick; three greatgrandchildren, Timothy, Noah, Natalie; brothers, Kenneth and Ruth Knap of Beaverdam; brothers and sisters in law, Angie Quick of Allendale, and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92nd Ave., in Allendale. The Rev. Mark Neymeiyer will officiate. Burial will be in Rusk Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Rusk Christian Reformed Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the Quick family to help with expenses.
The family is being served by the staff of Lakeshore Memorial Services.
