Helen Goldsmith

Goldsmith, Helen J. Kalamazoo, MI Helen Joyce Goldsmith died Friday, February 11, 2022. She was born September 10, 1927, in Kalamazoo, MI daughter of Clayton and Lillian (Norris) Palmiter and had been a lifelong area resident. In November of 1947, Helen married David J. Goldsmith who preceded her in death in 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Frances Perry; brothers-in-law, Bob Perry, and Lou Meinert; and grandson, David Goldsmith. Helen is survived by her son, Gregory (Donna) Goldsmith; daughter, Gayle (Jack) Mahieu; grandchildren, Shelley Munson, Jeffery Mahieu, and Natalie Goldsmith; great-grandchildren, Jarid (Hannah) Rial, Jocie Rial, Zachary (Brittany) Mahieu, Emmalee Mahieu, Jackson Mahieu, and Nona Mahieu; great-great-grandson, Fenix; and sister, Janis Meinert. Cremation has taken place and private placement of cremated remains will be held in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South.
