SCOBEY - Hazel M. Scobey (Tobin), aged 88, of Wayland, passed away at her home on Monday, February 9, 2009. She is survived by her children, Marie (Don) Carroll, William (Rose) Scobey, Gary (Pat) Scobey, Louis Scobey, Tom (Nancy) Scobey, Mary Bates, Charles Scobey, Daniel (Dee) Scobey, Dianne (Richard) Peake, Michael Scobey, Robert (Katie) Scobey; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. Parish Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Therese Church with Fr. Christian Johnston Celebrant. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. The family will greet relatives and friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the funeral service at church.
