Greg Roth, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and sibling, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 12, 2023, to join our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was 75 years old. Born on September 1, 1947, Greg was the son of Edward and Marjorie (Hildinger) Roth, both of whom preceded him in death.

Greg was raised in Saginaw, Michigan, where he grew up with his siblings. After completing his education, he embarked on a journey of service by joining the United States Navy. Greg devoted 21 years to the Navy, serving with honor until his retirement in May 1986. Following his military career, he worked as an instructor at Great Lakes Navy Base before transitioning to a role in documentation and training at Motorola, where he worked until January 2007.

On his life's journey, Greg was blessed with a loving marriage to his wife Lynn, whom he cherished for over 41 years. Together, they raised two children, Jennifer (Phillip) Murwin of Maple Grove, MN, and Michael Roth of Bronson, MI. His grandchildren, Ben and Evie, held a special place in his heart, and he treasured the time he spent with them.

Greg had a zest for life and pursued his passions with enthusiasm. He enjoyed the art of rebuilding old cars, the tranquility of golfing, the thrill of fishing, and the adventure of traveling alongside his beloved wife. Above all, Greg found immense joy in the company of his children and grandchildren until he faced the challenges of terminal illness in 2016.

Greg is survived by his three siblings, Clayton (Vickie Schramke) Roth of Union Grove, WI; Martin (Deborah) Roth of Saginaw, MI; and Cynthia (Mike) Taylor of Union Grove, WI.

A memorial service to celebrate Greg's life will be held at Oakland Drive Christian Church, 7331 Oakland Dr., Portage, MI 49024, on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 am. Pastor Eric Evans will officiate the service. Prior to the service, a visitation will occur at the church from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In remembrance of Greg, the family kindly requests that any memorial contributions be made to Oakland Drive Christian Church instead of flowers and plants.

Greg's unwavering faith and love for his family and friends allowed him to live life to the fullest. Today, we find solace in knowing that he is now at home with Jesus, dwelling eternally in His glorious kingdom. Greg's memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him.
