Glen Robinson

Mr. Glen R. Robinson, age 80, of Mattawan, MI died Saturday afternoon September 10, 2016. Glen was born December 7, 1935 in Batesville, Arkansas a son of Roy and Maude (White) Robinson. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1967 and was employed with Checker Motors for 25 years, retiring in 1994. He also worked at Shakespeare years ago. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, David, Ray, and Rueben Robinson; and a sister, Jewel Robinson. He is survived by 2 daughters, Stephanie (Alexander Smelov) Kewley of Hollywood, FL and Susan Robinson of Marshall, MI; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dale (Sandy) Robinson of Dowagiac, MI and Charles (Ann) Robinson of Kalamazoo; a sister, Shelby Jean (Frank) Daly of Greenville, NC; 6 step children; 12 step grandchildren; 13 step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
