Gerard Gust

Passed away October 12, 2010 at Borgess Medical Center. Gerry was born April 8, 1958 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Gerard and Judith (Sollom) Gust. He was a beloved husband, father and friend. He worked with, and greatly loved animals. He married Deborah Fredrickson September 18, 1987 and just recently celebrated his 23rd year of marriage. Surviving are his wife, Deborah; his step-son, Kyle and his daughter-in-law, Julia; his step-daughter, Kirsten and her partner, Ben; his father, Gerard and step-mother, Elaine; his father-in-law, Richard and his mother-in-law, Joyce; his sister, Janelle and her husband, Todd along with their two children, Kevin and Chad; his sister, Janette along with her three children, Ryan, Todd and Stacy; his brother-in-law, Keith and his sister-in-law, Lisa along with Keith's daughter, Nikki and her husband, Tom and their two children Gracie and Noah; his two step-brothers, Wayne and Lynn; his two step-sisters, Laurel and Cindy; and many more loving family members. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday October 16, 2010 at: Avink Funeral Home in Schoolcraft with Keith Clapp officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
