Gerald Millard

Gerald Millard, age 85, of Holland, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the Grand Rap-ids Veteran’s Home. He served his country dur-ing WWII in the Army Air Corps. Gerald loved to golf and bowl. He is survived by his chil-dren; John and Shari Millard of Coopersville, Jerri Lynn and Luke Kliphuis, Jim Mil-lard, Joe Millard, Jack Millard, all of Holland; 10 grandchil-dren; 23 great grandchildren; sisters; Dot Strengholt, Helen Schredgardus, both of Hol-land, In-Laws, Jack Bronson of Holland, Steve and Andie Bronson of Detroit, David and Judy Bronson of Texas, Dorothy and Dewey Furman of Holland, and Joyce Borg-man of Grand Rapids. A graveside service with military honors is planned for 11 am Thursday, Aug. 5, at Pilgrim Home Cemetery with Rev. Michael Houser officiat-ing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Rapids Veteran’s Home, 3000 Monroe Ave. NE, Grand Rap-ids, MI 49505. Arrangements are by Lan-geland- Sterenberg Funeral Home, Holland.
