Frances White

Frances passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Life Care Center in Plainwell. Fran was born May 26, 1925 in Cadillac, Michigan to Allen and Josephine (Mordhorst) Curry. She went back to school and graduated from Plainwell High School in 1980. She had worked at the Canning Company, Kessler's and the K-Mart in Kalamazoo. In her spare time, Fran enjoyed bowling and trips to the casino. She loved children and animals. On December 29, 1945 she married Raymond White who passed away in 1995. Surviving are her children, JoAnn (Russ) Stratton of Plainwell, Ben (Shery) White of Otsego and John White of Delton; daughter-in-law, Nancy White of Martin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and sister, Laura Wohlfeill. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Craig White; great-granddaughter, Sarah and siblings, Evelyn, Alice, Dorothy and Bob. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell. Contributions in memory of Fran may be made to Life Care Center of Plainwell.
