Lober, Floyd R. "Randy" Otsego, MI Randy passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at Bronson Hospital from complications of pancreatic cancer, with his loved ones by his side. He was born September 15, 1949 at Bronson Hospital to Floyd and Ileta Lober. He graduated with the Otsego High School class of 1968. He proudly served his country for 2 years in the U.S. Army. Randy was the telephone man, retiring from Verizon after 32 years. He was a member of South Kent Sportsman Club, Southwest Michigan Gun Club, Ducks Unlimited and the NRA. Randy was a match director for 30 years with the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association and was the former state champion for .22 cal and big bore. In 1971 he married his high school sweetheart, Mary Bronson who survives. Also left to mourn are his sister, Shirley (Charles) Rumpf; brother, Leslie Lober; sister-in-law, Sherri Bronson; beloved nieces and nephews, Scott (Chrystal) Fris, Joe (Kecia) Bronson, Sarah (Chris) Lake, Wilhelm, Georg (Kelley) and Sigmund Rumpf; several great-nieces and great-nephews and his hunting companion Tobey. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandy Fris. As he wished, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with Randy's family from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego. In accordance with covid -19 guidelines a limit of 25 people at a time will be allowed and masks and social distancing will be required. A private family memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., with Jeff Gilcrest officiating. For those unable to attend the service a live stream will be available for viewing.
