Elizabeth Ann Hendrixson

Elizabeth Ann Hendrixson, age 80, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2024. Liz was also known as "Cookie" to her family and close friends, and as "Aunt Cookie" to nieces, nephews, and every neighborhood kid. Liz proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Liz was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hendrixson of Battle Creek, Michigan, and her mother, Virginia Covill of Richland, Michigan. She is survived by her siblings, Mary Ferreri, Karen Glucksberg, Donna Nichols (Cam), Cristina Duncheskie, Jennifer Lind (Ron), Robert Lind (Julie), Ailene Buchtrup (John), and Norene Lind. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Cookie dearly. Liz will be remembered as a person who shared with others the most sincere and genuine Christian love. She was an example of love to all of us. A graveside service will be held at Battle Creek Memorial Park, 2435 W. Territorial Road, on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 12pm.
