Edward Rawsthorne

Edward went to his eternal home in heaven with his Savior. He accepted Christ in 1958 and lived his life serving the God he loved. He was born in Wyandotte, Mi. He attended Lawrence Tech and served our country in the National Guard. He worked for General Electric and for many years at Borgess Hospital retiring from there in 1998. His love of woodworking and "fixing" things was surpassed by his great love for family and his church. He was a long time member at Faith Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Lou (Mandeville), and his children: Charles (Teri), Ann Magee (Don), John (Deb), James (Debra). His 7 grandchildren adored him: Mark, Heather Strickland, Daniel, Joshua and Stephen Magee, Ashley Huffman, and Melissa Heil - as well as 7 great grand children. A memorial service will be held Nov. 21 at Lakes Bible Church 309 Decker Rd, Walled Lake, MI at 12:00. Visitation will be at 11:00am. Additionally there will be a tribute to his life and visitation at 11:30am Nov. 29 at Faith Baptist Church 56070 Murray St, Mattawan MI.
