Edward G. Hill

Hill, Edward G. Otsego, MI Ed passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Allegan. He was born July 13, 1931 in Kalamazoo, the son of Theodore and Mildred (Williamson) Hill. Ed proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. For almost 43 years Ed worked for James River until his retirement in 1993. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking, photography, woodworking, shooting skeet and playing the guitar and organ. On November 16, 1951 in Cannonsburg, MI he married Beatrice Lewis who preceded him in 2021. Surviving are his children, Edward (Ann) Hill Jr., Ronald (Char) Hill, Debbie Marculis and Gene Hill all of Otsego; 10 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren and sister, Nyla (Paul Ullrey) Merrill. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Theordore Hill Jr. Friends may visit with Ed's family starting at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M., with Ed's sister, Nyla Merrill officiating.
