Edgar Bosch

Edgar Dale Edgar Dale Bosch, age 81, of Portage passed away August 30, 2021. He was born May 7, 1940 in Holland, Michigan, the son of John and Anne (Veurink) Bosch. Ed was a middle school teacher for 43 years in the Kalamazoo Christian Schools. He was dearly loved by his wife, children and grandchildren, as well as the thousands of students, families, friends, and neighbors he mentored over his life and decades in education. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis Bosch; and first wife, Carol Bosch. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret J. Bosch; children, David (Brenda) Bosch, Sharon (Bryan) Rubingh, and Steven (Tara) Bosch; step-children, Luke (Christine) Drucker and Paul (Erin) Drucker; as well as grandchildren, Benjamin, Aaron, Nick, Joel, Austin, Nathan, Calvin, Andrew, Peter, Emilyn, Simon, Owen, James, Jacob, Freddie, and Scott. The family will greet friends Sunday, September 5 from 5-7:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 7 at 11:00am at Third Christian Reformed Church, 2400 Winchell Ave, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49008, where the family will greet friends one hour prior from 10-11:00am. Private interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland, Michigan.
