Ed Boelema, age 84, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 8, 2008. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kaye; his children, Sandy (Hank) Huizinga and Jack Boelema; grandchildren, Chad (Meagan) Huizinga, Kelli (Chuck) DeYoung, Stefanie (Ryan) Hawkins; great grandchildren, Chase Huizinga, Aubrie DeYoung, Dayton VanderMolen, Aeriskye Hawkins; and several sisters and brothers-in-law. Ed enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (west building). Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton, with Rev. Robert Langenberg officiating.
