E. Albert Lindberg

LINDBERG - Mr. E. Albert Lindberg, age 91, of Coopersville passed away Monday, September 27, 2010. He was born August 24, 1919, in Coopersville to Ernest and Nora (Zimmer) Lindberg. Al attended Coopersville Schools and was a life long resident of Coopersville and member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. He served his country in WWII in the US Army. After his discharge he returned to farming. He also owned and operated Lindberg Electric in Coopersville for over 20 years where he sold and repaired TV's and all types of electrical appliances. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Florence; children, Paul (Pat) Lindberg, Les (Nadia) Lindberg, Elaine Cramer, Jan Kimble, Marv (Rose) Lindberg, Kev (Diane) Lindberg, Ruth (Don) Bucholtz; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Simon (Lerine) Lindberg; sisters, Emmaleen Schab, and Marie Nellist; and many nieces and nephews. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Nora; sister Kathleen Jonio; and brother, Tom Lindberg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at St Michael's Catholic Church, 17151 88th Ave, Coopersville. Burial in St Mary's Cemetery in Marne. Friends and Relatives may meet the family Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville and Thursday one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at Church. Rosary Prayers will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.
