Duane Hoevenaar

Duane Arlan Hoevenaar, aged 57, of Grand Rapids, met his Lord and Savior and joined his mother on Thursday, October 18, 2007. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tena Hoevenaar. He is survived by his children, Aaron, Kevin, Holly and Jon Mulder; father, Herman Hoevenaar; brothers and sister, Ken and Donna Hoevenaar, Dorene and Terry Natte, Gary and Pat Hoevenaar; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Duane was a longtime member of Brookside Christian Reformed Church. He also enjoyed biking and running. Duane was employed with Knoll for thirty years. Funeral services for Duane will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Christian Reformed Church, 3600 Kalamazoo SE with Pastor Paul DeVries officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo SE Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Brookside CRC or the CADASIL Foundation.
