Dorothy S. Kondor, 88, of Paw Paw, Michigan passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Rose Arbor Residence in Kalamazoo.

She was born November 22, 1934, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Albert Mondro and Stella (Szymanski) Mondro.

Dorothy grew up in Chicago and graduated from Tooele High School. She was married to William Kondor on April 16, 1955 in Chicago. Together they raised their five children in Paw Paw. Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to cook and provide for her family. She enjoyed bowling, reading and playing cards. She also went camping throughout the United States with her family. Some of her favorite trips were to Ireland and Europe. For 20 years she and Bill enjoyed wintering in Southern California. She was a Lioness with the Paw Paw Lions Club and a volunteer at Bronson Lake View Hospital in Paw Paw.

She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Kondor, five sons, Paul (Phyllis) Kondor of NC, Dennis (Dannene) Kondor of CA, David (Kim) Kondor of Paw Paw, James (Kimberly) Kondor of Kalamazoo and Daniel (Jody) Kondor of Lowell, MI; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and her brother, Richard (Mary Beth) Krawczyk.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Mondro and her sister, Barbara Schiller.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, beginning at 4:00 p.m., with Rosary service at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will then follow until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Rev. Fr. Alan P. Jorgensen officiating. Burial will conclude at Saint Mary Cemetery, Paw Paw.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Centrica Care Navigators.
