She was born Jan. 27, 1927,Constantine, MI, daughter of Henry and Mary (Barger) Jacobs.
Married Leonard (J.R.) Carl Beattie.
Surviving are son: John Beattie, Boca Raton, FL; 2 grandsons: Chad (Kelley) Beattie and David (Ronit) Beattie both of Boca Raton, FL. 5 great-grandchildren: Lily, Jacob, Ava, Jack, and Ellie.
Preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter-in-law: Iris Beattie, brother: Meryl Jacobs, sister: Eleanor Yoder.
