Donald Stucky

STUCKY - Mr. Donald Stucky, age 92, of Pahrump, NV and formerly of Rockford, passed away on May 10, 2009. For 35 years he worked as a conductor for the C & O Railroad, retiring in 1978. Don was a good man who took extra good care of his family. Everyone who knew Don loved him for the person he was. He enjoyed hunting and especially liked going to deer camp at his cabin in Dublin, MI. For 30 years he was a member of Courtland-Oakfield United Methodist Church in Rockford. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Donna Lavery of Coopersville; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Leland and Julie Stucky, and Bud and Norma Stucky; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Stucky, and his son, Jerry. The Memorial Service for Mr. Stucky will be Saturday, June 13, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Conklin officiating. Inurnment in Courtland Township Cemetery.
