Donald J. "Jack" Bergner Jr.

Donald J (Jack) Bergner, Jr. age 84, formally of Kalamazoo passed away on August 3 in Tucson, Arizona after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the second son of three boys born to Donald and Mildred Bergner of Chicago. His work experience was mostly in sales. Jack enjoyed golf, was a better than average bowler, loved ice hockey, but his passion was baseball, especially following the Chicago Cubs.

Preceding him in death were his parents; youngest daughter Kelly Hutchins; and stepdaughter, Lesley Fahrenbacher. Remaining are his wife of 55 years, Clelie; daughter, Kim (Richard) Mudd of Baltimore; stepsons, Fred Howard of Tucson, and Rodney (Laura) of Berkeley, Calif; brothers, Russell and Tom Bergner of Indian Creek, IL; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and services were private.
