Obituary
Donald Carl Inman, 65 of Interlochen, died Dec. 19, 2008.
Don was born Nov. 7, 1943, in Traverse City, to Donald L. and Elmy K. (Erickson) Inman. He married Bonnie (Chupp) on June 21, 1990.
An avid hunter, Don enjoyed hunting bear, raccoon and coyotes with his brothers and "the guys." He enjoyed breeding, training and showing dogs and horses, and loved pulling Belgiums with all of his good friends. He talked on CBs and HAM radios, target-practiced with guns, and had coffee with everyone in the local restaurant in the mornings. Being with family was his "best times," and being at his cabin in the north was his second-best. He was a giving and passionate person in his own way, doing for others whenever asked. He was a member of NRA, the North and South Horsepulling Associations, and the Water Well Drilling Association.
Surviving Don is his wife, Bonnie; children, Donna (Tom) King, Jim "Butch" (Denise) Pierce, Evonne "Edie" Allard, Amy Allard (fiancée Glen Naghtin); his mother, Elmy; brothers and sisters, Duane (Helen) Inman, Dan (Elizabeth) Inman, Devon (John) Sprandel, Dale (Karen) Inman; grandchildren, Tom Jr., Michael, Aaron, April, Anna, Angie, Heather, Lindsey, Mathew, Keisha, Kelsey, Sara, Amy, Nadalys; great-grandchildren, Brogan, Harper, Bradon, Emily; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
