Donald Francis LeRoux

Donald Francis Le Roux passed unexpectedly on July 9, 2020. Don was born to Arthur N. and Amelia V. (Homa) Le Roux on May 22, 1950, in Ann Arbor, MI. He was raised in Muskegon, MI., and graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1968. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Education. His professional life was spent managing stores for Port City Paints in Grand Haven and Kalamazoo where he established long lasting relationships with his customers and fellow employees. Don is survived by his wife, Julie (Bernard) Le Roux, daughters, Amy (Jim) Miller, Elizabeth Le Roux, and son Dan (Lisa) Reid. His beloved grandchildren, Katherine, Ashley, Chloe, Luke, Samantha, Maddy, Ella, Amanda, Brendan, and Emma. His brother Paul (Lori) Le Roux, and sisters Mary Ann (Bob) Holcomb, and Therese (Dan) Reelman, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Don was preceded in death by his grandparents, Napoleon and Ella Le Roux, John and Mary Homa, parents and grandson, Nicholas Reid. Don loved his family and friends unconditionally, and all who were blessed to know him shared in his love of all that was University of Michigan athletics and life in general. He was a rare soul who has left his family and friends with the indelible mark of his love. Memorial services will be held in the future with notifications on facebook. The family sends their condolences to all his friends who loved him dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital or an organization of personal choice.
